The renewed AirPods 3 would not appear until the third quarter of this year, says a well-known analyst.
The third-generation AirPods will not go into production until the third quarter of this year, 9to5Mac reports, based on the usually reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The analyst makes his statements based on sources among suppliers. Kuo contradicts recent rumours with his prediction that Apple will unveil its new AirPods at an event on March 23.
The AirPods 3 are rumoured to be getting a different look for the first time. The current AirPods 2 look the same as the first AirPods from the end of 2016 but have a slightly longer battery life.
