Game platform Steam breaks record by a coronavirus

Game platform Steam has broken the limit of 20 million simultaneous users because everyone is at home because of the coronavirus.
On the night from Sunday to Monday, during a peak at the same time, 20,313,451 people were logged into Steam, SteamDB reports. That independent platform maps the use of Steam. It is the first time that so many people use Steam simultaneously. During the peak, nearly 6.4 million people were actively playing a game.

The previous record of 19 million concurrent users was last month. Still, this case is different, as SteamDB attributes the record to the coronavirus and the many people who are now at home.
