Presenter and singer Jan Smit (33) reacted on Twitter in an excellent way to a negative tweet that was flung in his direction. A television viewer commented on the vocal qualities of the singer, but Jan is not shy.

The viewer, who is clearly not impressed by Jan’s singing career, opens fire on the male Smit-descendant. “You are not a singer. You only rely on the success of when you were a little boy.”

Jan reacts to this in a playful way. “That’s absolutely right! That’s why I started to present myself nicely. Hang out on that couch, watch my colleagues get away with it! Smart eh! Enjoy your weekend!”

Jan receives a lot of acclaim from fans on Twitter. “Top answer”, someone responds. Another: “Don’t worry. You sing fantastic.”
