Joe Biden will choose runner-up next week

The designated Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, plans to choose his deputy in the coming week if he wins the election. Biden announced this on Tuesday during a campaign appearance in his hometown Wilmington, Delaware. Biden already decided in March that his running mate would be a woman.

Recent attention has also been paid to Tammy Duckworth, Senator and Iraqi veteran, and Barack Obama’s then-National Security Advisor, Susan Rice.
