Lieke Martens Supports FC Barcelona With a Big Win

 Lieke Martens helped FC Barcelona on Sunday with a hit to a big win over Real Betis. The women’s formation of the top Spanish club triumphed 0-3 in Sevilla.

Martens drew two minutes after halftime for the 0-2 with a shot in the far corner. Alèxia Putellas had already led the opening goal in the first half on behalf of the visitors, and Mariona Caldentey set the final score ten minutes before time at 0-3.

The 26-year-old Martens was taken to the side a few minutes before time. Defender Stefanie van der Gragt, her teammate with the Orange women, was in the field at Barcelona throughout the match.

Due to the convincing competition victory – the eighteenth of the season – Barcelona was relegated to the 2-3 defeat of a week and a half ago in the league against Sporting de Huelva.

Barcelona currently occupies the second place in Primera División for women with 57 points, six less than leader Atlético Madrid.
