The new Xbox will be called the Xbox Series X and comes with a new wireless controller, Microsoft announced in the night from Thursday to Friday. The new game console will be released around the holidays of 2020.
During the annual game conference E3 in June this year, Microsoft already announced that the new Xbox would be released around the holidays in 2020. Then he was still called Project Scarlett.
Now it is known that the new game console will be called the Xbox Series X and Microsoft will show what the game console will look like. The console becomes a lot bigger than that of the earlier Xbox game computers and can be placed both vertically and horizontally. According to Phil Spencer, the boss of Microsoft’s Xbox, it has “four times the processing power of the Xbox One X, in a quiet and efficient manner.”
Microsoft also announced that a new wireless controller will be issued. This has a new ‘share’ button that makes it easier for users to take screen photos and recordings of games. The controller can be used on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs and is included with every Xbox Series X.
