The new Kanye West album was postponed a few times but still appears on Sunday, September 29. His wife Kim Kardashian reports that on Instagram.
West started recording the new album on August 2018. The album was then called Yandhi and would not be released until September of that year. That date was not met, and also the announcement for November turned out not to be feasible. The rapper postponed the project.
West started earlier this year with his weekly Sunday service, Christian gatherings where the gospel is sung. He changed the name of his album to Jesus Is King and Kardashian announced that the album would be released on September 27. This did not happen either.
On Friday evening, however, an event took place where the musician introduced the new songs to his fans. Kardashian was present and wrote on social media: “Kanye does a listening session in Chicago on Saturday and in New York on Sunday. Then the album comes out as well. He is still making the final changes to the mix.”
