Due to an explosion in an industrial park in the Chinese city of Yancheng, at least six people died on Thursday afternoon, and at least thirty were injured. That’s what the Chinese authorities say.

The reason for the blast is as yet being examined. According to Chinese state media, benzene is said to have exploded. Video images on social media show fire and shattered windows in nearby buildings.
