The British Royal Family has gained popularity through the Netflix series ‘The Crown’. This emerges from a survey by FocalData, which was completed by more than a thousand viewers.

Opinions on the Windsors are positive, despite The Crown being considered fiction. For example, in the series, Prince Charles has an affair with Camilla during his marriage to Diana, something that is not well received by critics.

Still, 35 percent of viewers say that the image around Charles has improved, while 42 percent say their opinion has not changed. Queen Elizabeth and Diana also appear to have become more popular through the series.
Netflix now has four seasons of The Crown. The last season has been on the streaming service since last month.
